Well, the honeymoon period has worn off and I'm absolutely hating the job now, but it's worth it for the experience. I'm a bit freaked out though, as the store was held up in the early hours of the morning. I just worked a shift yesterday, and while I never do the overnight shift it's still pretty scary. I don't know much about what happened yet, though I'm going to stop by tomorrow to check in.
...Seriously, I'm starting to think drama follows me wherever I go. Still, I could have been the one working when that person came in. *shudder*

Yeah, so my dad found out that this place apparently gets held up all the time. So now he's pressuring me to quit. *sigh*
I have no idea what I'm going to do.

Someone held up a convenience store here last summer, tried to rob the clerk at knife point. The clerk held said robber at gun point until the police got there. Couldn't find the news article online anymore, 'tis gone it seems.

Couldn't find the news article online anymore, 'tis gone it seems. Epic. I ended up quitting, decided it wasn't worth it. It wasn't a great job to begin with and I had other issues with it, but this was the major straw that broke the camel's back. I think if it weren't for the robbery, I would have stayed. I can't help but laugh a bit, though. In my one week on the job there was certainly enough drama for a lifetime! ;D
