I hope I didn't misspell anything in the title this time
I know there are plot holes and it could be fleshed out more, but short stories are all I have patience for.
Princess Diane

Once upon a time in the land of MacGedd lived a just and honest king and his loyal and good queen. King Albert was loved throughout the land for the security that he provided. Queen Annette was loved for her knowledge of the kingdom's wealth. The king and queen were also loved for two other reasons. They had two daughters. Princess Camilla was raven-haired, like her mother. She was lazy and pampered. The younger of the two was Princess Diane. She had red hair and a temper, like her father. However, she had her mother's kind nature. This is Diane's story.
As I have said, Diane was fair and beautiful. She had her father's red hair, and beautiful green eyes. The people of MacGedd were mystified by her. How could a baby born with blue eyes grow into a young woman with green eyes? Unless she was destined for greatness, of course. Camilla envied her younger sister.
Camilla had, had three sons at a young age. Prince Armand, Prince Alexander, and Prince Abbott. She was beautiful too, but had her mother's brown eyes, and that they remained. She wished for the eyes that the people so loved, even though her husband Sir Weland from the land of Bull, loved her dearly.
Yes, Princess Diane seemed to have everything, but that's where her good charms ended. She had met her one true love, Prince Edward, and was deeply in love with him and he with her. One day, that all changed. Just months before the royal wedding, Prince Edward had changed. He was not the same sweet, loving man that the princess had fallen in love with. He was harsh, cold, and unforgiving. It happened overnight, as if something had happened to her handsome prince. That night, they went to bed in their separate chambers. The next day, Prince Edward was gone, along with his horse, leaving Princess Diane crushed.
She went to the good magician Marvin to see if he could tell her what caused her love to leave her. Marvin conjured an image in his witches glass that enraged and disheartened poor Diane. The image showed that Prince Edward was now under an evil spell. The evil witch Anastasia had sneaked into the castle kitchen, disguised as a friendly cook, and poured a potion into Prince Edward's mead. She had him under her spell. Diane looked at Marvin and asked, "Is there a way to bring him back?" Marvin shook his head and said, "The spell can only be broken one way, and I do not know how that is." Sadly, Diane went back to her chamber and wept.
Five long years passed in the kingdom of MacGedd. The people had lost the glow of happiness that radiated from Princess Diane and were left dazed and confused. Princess Camilla seized this time to try to turn the people into her followers by teaching her sons how to make the good people laugh. The people were amused, but their hearts were not in it when they saw their beloved Diane so unhappy.
One day, by a chance, Princess Diane was walking through the kingdom orchard and saw him. She had seen her gorgeous Prince Edward! She ran to him through the apple trees, skirts flying. "My love! You've returned!" she cried as she ran toward him. He looked up, and in his flawless blue eyes, she saw a sadness when she got near. "What is wrong, My Love? You've returned to me!" she questioned. "My Dearest Diane, I have returned, but I cannot be your husband. While under Anastasia's spell, we were wed. She had my child, a son," Edward stated, blinking away the tears that were forming in his eyes. "My Love, my Edward, there must be a way. You and your son are welcome in my father's kingdom. I had thought all hope was lost, but you are here now," she continued, "How did you learn of the spell, what broke it?" Diane inquired. "Seeing you again, my one true love. I realized I was under her spell as soon as I saw you running through the orchard," he explained. "My Love, you do not know how much I have missed you! But I must go, she will begin to look for me, which would put you in peril. I love you," with that he kissed her cheek and fled through the woods.
Princess Diane knew that she must save her true love, and his child, from the wicked Anastasia. She knew she had to talk to Marvin, he would know. He was the only one to give her hope through the long years. Surely they could find a solution. Together, Marvin and the princess devised a plan...
The evil witch lived with Edward and his young son in a hut beside an abandoned tower just beyond the border of MacGedd. Anastasia had been banned from all neighboring kingdoms for her trickery and thievery. Diane found the location with Marvin's witches glass. She silently crept up to the window of the hut. Prince Edward saw her, and diverted his wicked wife's attention elsewhere, because he knew that Diane had a plan. Following Marvin's instructions, she poured two small grains of blue sand into Anastasia's glass from a little envelope, careful not to touch it herself. She knew not what would happen, just that soon her problems would be solved.
Princess Diane nodded at her prince and ran off to hide behind the tower. Not five minutes later, Edward came bounding out of the hut carrying his toddler child. "You did it, My Darling! You've freed us!" Prince Edward shouted gleefully, along with the happy shouts of his young son. Princess Diane came around the tower, just to fall over with a fit of hysterical giggles. The sight before her eyes was just too funny not to. Trudging out of the hut came Anastasia. She had been transformed from a hideous, bloated hag into a huge wild boar!
There was a great celebration that night in MacGedd, a wonderful wedding celebration. Even Princess Camilla was happy for her little sister, even though she still envied those green eyes. Princess Diane and Prince Edward were wed in a royal ceremony. All of the kingdom was in attendance. They danced, sang, and enjoyed the royal wedding feast. As the newlywed couple and young son were seated at the table, the cooks brought out the main course of the feast. They uncovered it and Diane and Edward gasped and looked at each other with bewilderment. Under the cover was a huge wild boar. King Albert raised his glass in a toast to his youngest daughter, and to the hunting party that caught this giant boar near the abandoned tower.
After the feast, they all lived happily ever after, except for the witch. I think you know what became of her.
